POLITICAL ENTERTAINMENT IN THE MODERN HOME Political entertainment in the modern home may not be considered a suitable topic for a poem but rather serves to provoke a debate about the future of such domestic real estate. When a TV set reaches more than 72 inches and has to raised and lowered by winches its images then become mightily impressive but any lack of substance only gets depressive. if the first thing one sees on opening one's door is Donald Trump's hugely bouffant pompadour and the deepening bags under Hillary's eyes sometimes surprise-- in fact, you and your companion might mistake them for the Grand Canyon- it may be time to set back the clocks and return to the old radio box, if only once again we could hear something more patrician like FDR's voice , instead of what's heard in today's edition.
