The thought of those pots and pots of money has long smelled like lots and lots of honey irresistible to the European economic community who'd now like to seize it with impunity and at their very first opportunity. Pols say that while they may indeed be crooks they are neither Irish nor European--- but OUR crooks-- so keep your hands off -for the time bein' until we somehow bring all that cash back home. and thus find ourselves a better way to end this poem.
