Scientists Discover Sixth Taste
After more than ten thousand years of cooking
Scientists, who try harder than most at looking
have found a 'new' taste, or so they say,
even though it's always been there anyway.
Some Asians may say it's "rice-like"
and others that it's "lice-rike"
but no matter how it rolls off the tongue
and whether one is old or young
there appears to be an urgency great
to eat daily complex carbohydrate
like French fries, rice, pasta or well-made bread
though it may be a wiser bet--
not to follow Marie Antoinette--
and recommend cake instead
since it caused her to lose both Crown and head.

“Asians would say it was rice-like, while Caucasians described it as bread-like or pasta-like,” she added.
