KNEELING My country t'is of thee, A once grand land of liberty that I'd like to sing, Instead of silently shuddering. This country, once so great, now reeling and full of hate as overpaid athletes demand their due as well as the right to ignore those in blue who mainly only try to do their jobs for which they too often get paid like slobs. While we all want respect for life as we live it, is it too much to expect that we might also give it? HzL 9/25/16
