Leading From Behind

It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.

Leading From Behind

Though I'm not sure who would know better what to do
It is clear America's  current leaders  don't have a clue.

If they think that they are "leading from behind"
it is obvious to others that they are blind

since they  see from the direction of their feet
and painful  defeat  after painful  defeat,

that, despite  what some eloquent mouth may   repeat and repeat
they mostly  make a cowardly retreat

while the   well-meaning but   weak   blah blah blah
gives  a  bleeding world no hope or hurrah

as they  wait for some always  absent stranger
"to take the front line when there is danger."
