According to USA Today,
next Thanksgiving has already been spoiled by the NFL.
For this
They may deserve punishment or even some time in Hell.
As to just where they should go,
it's no use consulting Dante's Inferno,
because:
1. it's written in Renaissance Italian, and the NfL hasn't sent any teams there
2. Lawyers would need to spend years arguing whether this should apply to American or
European Futball, fussball or whatever
3. And then have to define Thanksgiving, to make sure it isn't a plot by Google and the NSA.
Especially now that it isn't entirely clear whether Thanksgiving actually remains a holiday at all
Or just an excuse for marketing the new Xmas shopping season instead,
beginning with a series of dark colors such as
Black Friday, and Who Knows What Color Saturday
before ending in the familiar green and red.
