To Santa Claus *

on MY Annual Dermatology XMAS visit

I don't believe the stories told

of  those halcyon days of old.

Perhaps they once were true

but nowadays here's  what's new:

Santa Claus has specialized in Dermatology

and  even deserves a  PhD.

He offers biopsies, and sometimes  Mohs,

Instead of reindeer running through snows

Furthermore  all his years of preparation

 still offer great  cause for celebration--

for what he now  may lack in cuteness

is more than made up for by astuteness--

and thus has helped me  avoid radiation!
