Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen embarks on a $500 million quest to dissect the mind and code a new one from scratch.
TODAY'S NEWS :they're building an artificial brain as ....
Microsoft's-ex Paul Allen has lots of dough
with which he could beautify our nation's walks,
possibly again improve the Seattle Seahawks,
or try to conquer many another woe.
Instead, he's chosen now to apply his wealth
(although there's lot's more that will remain),
towards understanding the human brain,
Evolution's masterpiece, both of sickness and health
What's taken Nature about a billion years to do,
they hope to reproduce and better in a few,
and should they in this effort succeed,
I wonder what kind of world they'll breed.
For any brief glance at Man's History might tell
us to have an uneasy sense of alarm;
it could be either Heaven or Hell---
a Brain can hurt as well charm.
