The Brain
The human brain is hard to explain
for among its various folds and bends
is where the soul begins and ends.
How did something at times profound or else obnoxious
ever develop from such an almost empty one in Amphioxus ---
a two pointed creature that could hardly tell it's end from its snout?
Well, I guess that's what Evolution is all about.
