 Though  I  shouldn't the Institution too much disparage

 for something else that might bring us more cheer.


still it's  high time to question traditional marriage,

even if   without it, I wouldn't be here,



For the human race to long  survive,

that we must  have children brooks no contradiction,

but can't we somehow find a different way to live,

when   the tale of everlasting love is too often less a fact than fiction?




One which hopefully  draws  many fewer lawyers' attentions--

 those parasites who  mainly thrive on everyone else's  tensions--


Oh, though  I wish I had an answer clear,

I'm afraid  I must  leave that to you....Dear.
