New Tiger Woods love 'scandal' ?

New Tiger Woods love 'scandal' ?

When a child prodigy is supremely gifted at putting things in holes

he may grow up trying out other things than golf poles,

apparently   sometimes then causing great consternation

to admirers, especially those  female, in his congregation.

If he wants to have a happy old age,

rather than one that's lonely and  sobby,

perhaps, some time before his dotage

he should consider a new hobby?

Tiger Woods’s management has felt compelled to issue a statement dismissing reports of the 14-time major champion having an affair with Jason Dufner’s former wife.

With Woods preparing for his Open warm-up at the Greenbrier Classic, social media was awash with the latest Woods love “scandal”. National Enquirer, the United States magazine which first revealed in 2009 Woods’s multiple mistresses, claims that the 39-year-old cheated on Lindsey Vonn with Amanda Dufner, going public and quoting “sources” about rumours that have circulated on the range for weeks.
Vonn, the US skier, and Woods split in May after a three-year relationship, while the Dufners had a quick and unexpected divorce the month before.

However, Mark Steinberg, Woods’s long-time agent was emphatic in his rebuttal. “Absolutely 100 per cent false,” Steinberg said in an email to Fox. “Complete lie and fabrication.”
Woods could do without this as he tries to recover his form in time for The Open at St Andrews in two weeks. Today he plays in the first round in West Virginia and after he feels he has improved since last month’s US Open at Chambers Bay, where he shot 80 and 76 to record his worst 36‑hole total in 19 years as a professional.

“As interesting as that place was, if you missed a shot you could look like an absolute idiot there,” Woods said. “We’ve made some progress since the last time we played. Obviously that’s not really saying much. I drove it great today.”

At 220th in the world rankings, Woods is desperate for an upturn. On his only other visit to the Greenbrier in 2012, he was home by Friday night and realises that unless he hits the groove he could well be again. The field also includes Bubba Watson and the Englishman he beat in last week’s play-off in Connecticut, Paul Casey.

“It’s my first time back since the last time I missed the cut here,” Woods said. “The course is in great shape, the greens are a little bit faster than the last time we played. I expect the scores to be very low. We’re going to have to go low, we’re going to have to make a bunch of birdies, keep the pedal down and be aggressive.”
