GARBINE MUGURUZA (at the Wimbledon Final)

According to an article in El Pais, this 21 year old lady speaks  English as well as her native Spanish. She was born in Venezuela, despite her last name which is  Basque,  and has been playing tennis since the age of 3. She was sent to the Spanish tennis academy at Bruguera at age 6 along with her two older brothers but she was the star. She is also an accomplished musician on guitar  performing songs in Euskera,  the native Basque language and also can speak Catalan (the language of Barcelona) .

She has already defeated Serena Williams, ousting her from the French Open and in view of the difference in their ages, she will likely do  in the future but today's match should be quite a struggle, Williams this time will undoubtedly not be surprised by her opponent's talent and the date could be lucky for either.
