The Future?

The Future looks grim, so grim

with   chances  at happiness slim, so slim. 

Ubiquitous robots will have eliminated jobs

And taking frequent showers will be only  for snobs

because it will then become hard to make the effort 

as precious resources of water get extremely short.

The United States will  be called Greater Mexico

And those speaking English could be forced to go.

But where? Europe, Africa or Australia? None of these,

since by 2047, they could all  be officially  speaking Chinese.

And much of this, now predicts a lady whose first name is Lionel,

and  she may well  be speaking the truth as far as anyone can tell.
