Heavy rains are expected on Monday
which therefore won't be a Sun day
in any possible case.
But if there's much more than a trace
of a tropical cyclone,
it could get a name of its own
either at first or eventually.
It will begin with a C
for the simple reason
that's it's already the third storm of the young season,
and if strong enough, that name is projected to be "Colin",
But if somewhat weaker, possibly just "Semi-Colin"?
Well , we'll see
but, either way, here's likely to be plenty of misery
since Florida drivers are NOT noted for judgement or courtesy.

Heavy rains expected Monday as forecasters expect tropical cyclone
Daniel Owen
Palm Beach County looks to be in for a lot of rain at the beginning of the week as a cluster of thunderstorms moves across the Gulf of Mexico toward Florida.
Forecasters are calling for heavy rains and a chance of flooding on Monday and Tuesday in South Florida, saying that the low-pressure area is likely to form into a tropical cyclone by Monday.
It’s not clear how much the system will strengthen. But even if it doesn’t become a tropical depression or a tropical storm, South Florida looks to be in for a lot of rain.
“The impacts are the same,” National Weather Service meteorologist Chuck Caracozza said. “Regardless of the development, basically what we’re looking at here locally is some heavy rain and flooding.”
Saturday evening, the National Hurricane Center gave the system an 80 percent chance of developing into a tropical cyclone Monday.
It was moving Saturday through the northwestern Caribbean near Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. The Gulf of Mexico’s warm waters could help it to gain tropical cyclone status.
Forecasters says there is a chance of rain Sunday, but the heavy downpours will most likely start early Monday and grow even heavier on Tuesday.
Heavy gusts and isolated tornadoes are also a possibility that forecasters are watching for.
If the system does form into a tropical cyclone, it will be named Colin. It would be the earliest in the season that a C-named storm formed since 1851, thanks to the formation of Hurricane Alex in January and Tropical Storm Bonnie in May.
