The Pompano Shell Show Saturday  was a pleasant place to be
 
and quite crowded too.
 
One reason was, of course,  is that it was  free,
 
and shown expertly and  reliably
 
plus, sea shells make  an extremely  decorative zoo,
 
undeniably.
 
But why do all these beautiful abstract patterns and designs abound---
 
Do they suggest some  hidden meaning  yet to be found?
 
Or  something  more odd---
 
or      weird...
 
perhaps  to be feared...
 
so  very many random  games of checkers,   played by  God ?
