Chromecasting Our Culture
From the company that seeks to do no evil
has come an appliance allied with the devil.
It is cheap, plastic and round
and doesn't make a single sound
yet it connects to the world
and through it the past is unfurled
including long dead stars of stage and screen
once more revitalized and newly seen
in this new version of Plato's cave
available to everyone --not only the brave.
Our cultural past need not die and be forgot
especially if your new TV has a USB slot.
