Florida State freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson has been suspended indefinitely from the football team for a violation of "athletic department policy," the school announced in a statement Thursday.
ESPN reporter Mark Schlabach, citing unnamed sources, reports Johnson punched a woman in the face at a West Tallahassee bar during an argument Wednesday night.
Johnson has not been charged with a crime. But the incident occurred after she cut in front of him in line while waiting for drinks at the bar. Witnesses reported the woman raised her arms, Johnson grabbed them and punched her in the face, Schlabach reports.
FSU FRESHMAN QUARTERBACK SUSPENDED
Let us all now celebrate
the latest news from Florida State:
According to this recent information
"It is against Athletic Department policy" to strike a woman in the face
since college should be a place for cerebration
and contemplation,
and contemplation,
or at least preparation
for the intricacy of a T formation.
Besides the gentleman in question,
i.e. gentleman?,
was a quarterback,
so here is a suggestion
which may or may not go viral,
to avoid his current dishonor,
would it have been better for his future if he'd thrown her,
and in a perfect spiral ?
