New York: The HIGH Line and The New Whitney
Of New York's lower West Side
that what once was a rusted wreck
of filth and dreck
has lately become New York's pride.
But though there are no longer any gangsters packing heat
there still are many acres where they're packing meat,
as, unaffordably to me and you
large new buildings encroach upon the view.
While Art may be the stronger magnet for snobs,
it's real estate and industry that beget the jobs.
