Pardon me if I may seem to stammer--
I'm merely speaking while thinking of grammar.
I don't know why they call them Romance Languages--
with so many rules, it's a wonder that anyone engages.
And if a romance is in the past
because alas, it didn't last,
is that past definite, indefinite, perfect or more so
because some one didn't like the other's torso?
When communication gets so complicated,
it's a wonder that anyone is ever mated.
