 Political Dreams

I dreamt I wrote a poem last night

It's words were beautiful and  deep

but now it's all forgotten.

Yet I don't feel rotten,

because I got more sleep.

Perhaps eloquence is better saved for political campaigns

in order to  to hide past,  present and future pains

where from the candidates, it pours

 – those hypocritical lying whores –

 like never ceasing rains.
