When to Cease and Desist?
When should a poet, or would-be poet, cease and desist?
To answer that question, I too can't resist.

As, at the piano,. when at verse, I write and play at

but almost entirely for my own bemusement--
yet I'm pleased should it also give others amusement.
It gives me quite a bit cheer, in fact
if and when I'm overheard with tact,
since, no matter how I might be aspirin'
I'll never be a great musician or a Lord Byron,
I'll never be a great musician or a Lord Byron,
or even less, a wayward genius like his daughter Ada,
so ,to be safe, I also always try to include some data.
